Andanzas.

This is a photographic book I published in 2006. It is a compilation of photographs I shot in several places and it take us into this great journey of imagery from a kiss about to happen on the streets of San Francisco to the loneliness on a cloudy day over the historic route 66. Take a look and enjoy.

Out of the Shadows.

Out of the shadows showcases the voices of tens of hundreds of immigrants and US citizens who took the streets of San Diego to express their rejection towards anti-immigrant legislation. For the first time, old, young, white, and brown walk together in what authorities called a very peaceful and organized protest. In 2006 similar marches took place all over the country. This march was the beginning for hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants to start living “Out of the Shadows.” I had the privilege and honor of documenting this historical moment, and this is my account of it.

Simplicity.

Flowers are used in a variety of ways in our daily life. They transcend cultures, language, and become a symbol of happiness, love, and sometimes respect. I followed the eye of a painter that I admire a lot Georgia O'Keeffe and in my journey, I discovered that flowers also can be sensual, erotic even. Join me on this journey where simplicity is the rule.
